Official rules of GOLV Virtual Airlines — please read before flying.
1. Introduction
GOLV Virtual Airlines is a non-profit virtual airline dedicated to providing a realistic virtual aviation experience. All members must respect and follow the rules described in these regulations to ensure a healthy, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for the entire community.
By joining GOLV Virtual, the pilot declares that they have read, understood, and fully accept the terms set out herein, as well as any future updates duly communicated.
2. Membership Requirements
To join GOLV Virtual, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Own a compatible flight simulator: MSFS 2020/2024, X-Plane 11/12, or P3D v5+
- Have an active account on at least one ATC network: IVAO and/or VATSIM
- Fully agree with the terms of these regulations
- Maintain respectful conduct toward all community members
3. Pilot Conduct
GOLV Virtual pilots must uphold the quality and image of the airline on all platforms. The following are expressly prohibited:
- Disrespectful or offensive behavior in chats, forums, and social media
- Use of inappropriate language in ATC communications
- Deviating from approved routes without dispatch authorization
- Falsifying flight logs or flight hours
- Representing the airline on unauthorized flights
4. Minimum Activity
To maintain active status in the VA, each pilot must log at least 1 (one) flight per month. In the event of planned inactivity, the pilot may request a temporary leave with a minimum of 48 hours' notice.
- Temporary leave: up to 60 days of absence without loss of rank
- Inactivity without notice: automatic suspension after 45 days
- Automatic removal: after 90 days of inactivity without notice
5. Rank System
Rank progression is based on flight hours logged in the official ACARS system:

| 🟠 First Officer | 5 – 100 h | Regular domestic network flights |
| 🔴 Captain | 100 – 200 h | Domestic and international flights |
| ⭐ Master Captain | 200+ h | Access to long-haul routes |
6. Valid Flights
For a flight to be counted in the pilot's logbook, all of the following requirements must be met:
- Use the official GOLV Virtual ACARS (vAMSYS) connected throughout the entire flight
- Complete 100% of the route as planned in the submitted flight plan
- Do not pause the simulator after starting the flight via Pegasus vAMSYS
- Be connected to an ATC network (IVAO, VATSIM, or Offline) during peak hours where applicable
- Perform a complete landing — flights ended with a crash or disconnection are not counted
7. Penalties
Non-compliance with these regulations may result in the following sanctions, assessed on a case-by-case basis by management:
- 1st offense: Verbal warning recorded in the pilot's profile
- 2nd offense: Temporary suspension of 7 to 30 days
- 3rd offense or serious violation: Permanent removal from the VA
8. Amendments to Regulations
These regulations may be updated at any time. Members will be notified via the official Discord or vAMSYS with a minimum of 7 days notice before any changes take effect.
Continued membership in the VA after an amendment is published constitutes automatic acceptance of the new terms. Pilots who disagree must formally notify their departure before the effective date.
